This was brought to me, as it was making a hell of a grinding noise and not really turning the beaters properly. Had to strip the whole main head assembly apart to get to the problem, which turned out to be a worm gear that had become stripped of it's threads. After replacing both the worm gear and pinion with some fresh grease, it was perfectly fine. Bread making was returned back into full swing !
